A Chaska homeowner wanted to update the master suite in her 1990s-era home, including adding unique items and design features for a more modern aesthetic. The master bedroom had an awkward flow and an outdated corner bathtub, which was both unattractive and impractical. She wanted a larger space, a vanity with more character, and a master bedroom with “pop.”
The client, who had already worked with Iron River Construction four times over the past 11 years, knew working with us would provide the high-quality results she desired.
Luxurious Bed & Bath features and distinctive design
With our expert staff and relationships with local designers, we were able to help the homeowner realize her vision of a well-designed, modern space.
For the master bathroom, she chose a custom-stained rift sawn oak cabinet vanity with two white vessel sinks and distinctive door fronts, a heated floor to warm her feet during the cold Minneapolis-area winters, and a luxurious open shower with glass walls and a frameless glass door. To provide her with the space she wanted, we added to the existing master suite, creating a more expansive, usable space.
An intricate wood ceiling trim posed some challenges, but our expert team ensured all of the box and triangle shapes were consistent.
