Iron River Construction Apprenticeship Program
(Application Deadline: March 1st, 2023)
In order to be eligible to apply for our apprenticeship program, you must submit your completed application along with a clear and legible copy of the following documents:
- Education Prerequisites: A High School Diploma (or High School Transcript if anticipated graduation date is May 2023) or an equivalent General Educational Development Certificate, a High School Proficiency Certificate, or a College Diploma
- Proof of Driver’s License: Please send a copy of your driver’s license

The apprenticeship program was created to increase accessibility to higher education for students interested in vocational studies. By creating a scholarship program that is paired with experience with other carpenters, apprentices will gain important insight in the construction world. If you like working with your hands, feeling accomplished after a long day of work, and would like to work for a company that values you, then this is a great opportunity for you. Benefits
- $15/Hour Wage ($18/Hour after 800 hours are completed)
- $1,250/Semester Scholarship
- $5,000 in free education over 2 years
- Hands-on experience with professionals at Iron River Construction
- College help with FAFSA, Enrollment, and Navigation of College World as needed
- Preferential Hiring at Iron River Construction after graduation from Carpentry School
