Renovations: Storm Damaged Roofing, Siding, and Gutter Replacement
Our client’s home in Shakopee was severely affected by hail storms. The roof, shingles, soft metals, vinyl siding on the left elevation, and screens on the front elevation were all damaged.

Though Inspection and Consultation
During the consultation process, we ensured our client understood who we are and what we do. We provided him with a comprehensive packet of information about Iron River Construction. Additionally, we performed a free external home inspection, meticulously searching for hail damage to various elements of the property such as siding, windows, screens, flashing, soft metals, downspouts, gutters, soffit, fascia, and the roof.
We documented all the damage through photographs, which we shared with the homeowner. Following the initial inspection, we signed an insurance proceeds agreement and opened a claim with the homeowner’s insurance company. To further guarantee the coverage of the identified damages, we scheduled a meeting with the insurance field adjuster, ensuring they saw the damage firsthand.
Installing Durable & Attractive Roofing, Siding, and Gutters
Our Iron River Construction team expertly undertook the restoration of the roofing, siding, gutters, and downspouts.
- Roofing System: We replaced the entire roofing system, including ice & water protection, felt, start shingles, shingles, ridge and hip, flashing, drip edge, and gutter apron. The newly selected shingles were CertainTeed Landmark in Driftwood color.
- Siding: The damaged vinyl siding on the left elevation was replaced with Ovation by Ply-Gem Mastic in Misty Shadow DD4.5 woodgrain.
- Gutters and Downspouts: We replaced the gutters and downspouts with Norandex Seamless 5″ Gutters. White downspouts were installed in the front, while Terra Bronze downspouts adorned the back of the house.
