During the construction process, Iron River had to get creative. They were determined to give the owners their dream bathroom, but there were a few challenges along the way. The client wanted to redesign their bathroom layout and remove a small tile shower and large tub that didn’t suit their needs and replace them with a large custom tile walk-in shower. However, two of the existing shower walls were exterior walls.
Fortunately, Iron River’s years of experience came in handy when extra work was done in the client’s garage and attic that bumped into the shower walls to insulate those areas from the outside of the walls so plumbing and niches could be installed into the interior of them.
How a Simple Bathroom Became Luxurious
The bathroom looked unrecognizable. A new layout could be made with the large tub and stall shower torn out. In addition to the tile walk-in shower, Iron River installed a new tile floor, shower glass, custom vanity, linen cabinets, quartz countertop, and a fresh coat of paint.
