As people find more ways to utilize their homes, the mudroom has made a comeback. For a great example of how one of these rooms can organize and clean up a home, check out the video and pictures in this article.
What This Room Can Do For You
The mud room gets its name from the fact that it’s used to stow muddy shoes and boots, but it can offer so much more.
Shower
When a shower stall or small bathroom is added, kids, dogs and adults have an easily accessible place to clean up after playing in the mud.
Organization
Cubbies and lockers ensure that there’s a place for everything, and make it easy to put everything in its place.
Laundry
It’s also a great place for the washer and dryer. Beach towels, rags from cleaning the car and soiled jackets don’t have to go far to be washed when you do the rest of the laundry.
When you’re ready to tackle your next remodel project, why not look at places to include a mud room of your own?
